We stayed a nite at the resort, so we could prepare everything from one day before the event and also for storage room that we need to put foods and other things. We prepared everything until Saturday 2am, and just took a sleep until 4am. At 5am, registration started and continued with breakfast until 7am. The golf itself finished at 1pm continue with lunch, lucky draw and Mechanical Organization Jacket Auction. And all event finished at 3pm, Alhamdulillah we got around IDR 60M profit from ticket sold, and the auction.
The purposes of this golf tournament are for charity and alumni reunion. Profit that committee got from this event will distributed for social activities around campus area such as to give free medicines and free academic books for anak jalanan.
And scholarship for mechanical ITB students. That’s why this event is called Golf Charity Tournament. Many alumni said, “Golf event like this should be held every year! So we can meet each other more often. Otherwise, students can meet many alumni, so the network between campus and alumni can be better.”
